One standout project was the complete dental clinic fitout for Warrandyte Dental, a bespoke space designed to feel more like a sanctuary than a traditional dental practice.
Located in the heart of Warrandyte, this project perfectly captured the essence of its surroundings while delivering a premium, functional dental environment for both patients and staff.
Bringing the Outdoors Indoors: The Vision for Warrandyte Dental
Dr Shirani Thevarajan had a clear vision for her new clinic. She wanted to move away from the clinical feel and instead create a calm, welcoming sanctuary that reflected the green, earthy landscape of Warrandyte.
The goal was simple yet powerful, to help patients feel at ease the moment they walked through the door. Our role was to translate that vision into a fully realised dental fitout that balanced aesthetics, durability, compliance, and functionality.
Material Selection That Enhances Patient Experience
Material choice played a critical role in achieving this natural, calming atmosphere while still meeting the demands of a high-traffic dental clinic.
Premium Vinyl Flooring by Polyflor
For the flooring, we specified Polyflor commercial acoustic vinyl, chosen for its durability, acoustic performance, and seamless finish, all essential qualities in modern dental clinics. The product provided:

Lighting That Elevates the Space
Lighting was another key element in delivering a premium dental fitout.
- LED strip lighting was integrated throughout the clinic to create a soft, ambient glow and elevate the overall look and feel
- LED recessed strip lighting in the reception area added a refined, high-end finish, subtly guiding patients through the space

Custom Joinery Designed for Function and Flow
Custom joinery was designed and built specifically for Warrandyte Dental, incorporating:
- Soft-close cabinetry for a quieter, more refined patient experience
- Thoughtful storage solutions to support clinical efficiency
- Clean lines and natural tones that reinforce the sanctuary-inspired design
Every joinery element was tailored to suit both the operational needs of a dental clinic and the overall design narrative.
